Adopt a chimp

One of the best ways of supporting us is to adopt one of our chimps. Your monthly (or yearly) donations will allow us to make plans for the future. These plans involve making long term provisions for the care of our chimps. Some chimpanzees can live to be over 65 years old, and currently our youngest is only 7!
Becoming a sponsor is a very special way of learning how your chimpanzee is progressing and what is going on in his or her daily life, such as their relationships with the other members of the group, what they like best, etc. You will receive a personalized adoption certificate, an adoption card, a yearly photo of your adopted chimp so that you can follow their progress, and a letter every six months. You will also benefit from discounts on our animal behaviour courses, discounts on Short Stays as a primate carer, and you will be given preference when booking a guided tour to see your adopted chimp. You will also be invited to the twice yearly meeting of our collaborators, which in previous years have included major national and international figures from the world of primate studies, animal behaviour, archaeology and other related fields.
